Twill / twill made of 100% hemp, undyed.
Rather coarse and strong, highly durable, suitable for example for very coarse pants and jackets, for bags and for pillowcases.
Environmentally friendly hemp cultivation without chemicals:
The hemp plant is a soil improver and low water consumer, the up to 2m long roots get their water needs from the soil.
Hemp plants are inherently insensitive to insects and diseases, so cultivation does not require the use of any pesticides. Herbicides against weeds are also unnecessary, as hemp grows very quickly.
Thus, undyed hemp fabrics are true, clean natural products.
Special properties of hemp fibers:
Hemp fibers have the same micro-electrical voltage as our skin, which is why hemp fabrics are especially suitable for people with sensitive skin.
Hemp absorbs moisture very well and also releases it excellently.
Hemp has a temperature balancing effect. The fibers warm well in winter and have a cool effect on the skin in summer.
Hemp has antibacterial properties.
